Copenhagen Arbitration Day: lunch seminar on arbitrability and human rights

Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten invites you to a seminar on arbitrability and human rights.

What is the topic of the Lunch Seminar?

The Lunch Seminar will explore arbitrability and human rights in light of the growing focus on human rights in commercial contracts.

The panel which consists of professor Mads Bryde Andersen, Københavns Universitet – University of Copenhagen, René Offersen, offersen : christoffersen Advokatfirma I/S and Dr. Toms Krumins, COBALT Legal, will discuss recent developments and potential future trends in arbitration and human rights.

Why is it an important topic right now?

The intersection between arbitration and human rights is becoming increasingly relevant as ESG considerations, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations bring human rights into the heart of commercial transactions and potentially in arbitral proceedings.

Where and when?

The seminar takes place on 4 September 2025 at Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten’s Copenhagen office, Kalvebod Brygge 32, 1560 Copenhagen V.
